It works at 5GHz for 802.11n, however if you mean 5 GHz for 802.11a then&nbsp;the only Kali compatible chipsets are the&nbsp;Atheros AR9271, Ralink RT3070, Ralink RT3572, Realtek 8187L (Wireless G adapters), and&nbsp;Realtek RTL8812AU. Of those, the only one that supports 802.11a is the Alfa AWUS051NH Dual Band 2.4 GHz &amp; 5.8 GHz. We have not tested this with the Storm.<br /><font color="#5040ae">c. What do you guys suggest as an external power source for the Storm?&nbsp; I have one that I use to re-charge my surface but I didn&rsquo;t know if you had a recommendation on a smaller one.</font><br />We recommend the one in our <a href="https://iclass.eccouncil.org/product/gale-force-10-expansion-pack/" target="_blank">Gale Force 10 Expansion kit</a>.
